Wish I’d thought of that…it’s the coolest campaigns from around the world

Doritos Dodgeball Challenge

Over the past month, the Doritos Dodgeball Challenge invited the people of the UK and Ireland to fire a barrage of balls at the 34 dodgeball teams putting themselves in the firing line. The public were able to take control of one of six canons from the comfort of their own home or office – aim and fire at the competitors by simply clicking their mouse. Every hit, near miss and eye-watering moment was streamed live, direct to the nation’s computers.

We Are Not Alone…

Make sure you are sitting down to view this short TV ad from the BBC

Love it or Hate it…it’s the Cadbury Eyebrows

The Facebook Group has over 51,000 fans. There’s a ring tone, personalised eyebrow mugs, a series of spoof videos and now the Jivebrow 2009 Competition. We’re not decided on this campaign but as it’s Lent, we’re not eating chocolate anyway. If you wanted to watch it again:

Talk to Frank UK Anti-Cannabis Campaign

This clever creative concept has been transferred from TV to online and explores the different states of mind brought about by cannabis use. Cannabis has recently been re-classed as a Class B drug in the UK and now has stricter penalties for those caught in possession of the drug. We really like the TV ad too.

Guys Who Smell Like Girls

Women often wonder where that bottle of fancy shampoo disappeared to from the bathroom. Or how that expensive face cream was used up so fast. The truth is, it’s the bloke in your life who nicks all your products, whether he’ll admit to it or not. This new Axe ad makes a memorable point about why men shouldn’t use women’s soap.

Dexter’s out to get you…

This cool new viral was created to promote season two of the US drama series “Dexter” about a serial killer also works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analysis. Viewers can send friends a personalised press conference video where they appear as the next victim of the serial killers rampage. Users take the role of journalist and can record their own questions or make a statement using a webcam or webcam. This attracted global condemnation and controversy but as we all know in advertising, negative publicity is still publicity and I’m sure viewing numbers shot up. Visit

The Dexter Hit List

and send the viral on to a mate…who has a very good sense of humour!

Levi’s Moonwalker Viral

Watch what happens when you bring together a bunch of guys with too much time on their hands, a gormless mate, a pair of Levi’s, some duct tape and a canister of helium. Lucky for him that a sharp gust of wind didn’t carry him into some telegraph wires or a pylon.

Absolut team up with Kanye West…

If you feel famous and powerful on the inside but nobody can see it on the outside, what should you do? Absolut have solved this age old problem by teaming up with Kanye West in a peculiar campaign called Be Kanye, see www.Bekanyenow.com . They’ve created a website featuring the BeKanye tablets which if consumed, will turn you into rapper Kanye embellishing you with enlarged ego, increased creativity and elevated confidence. There’s also a curious countdown which doesn’t reveal what exactly will manifest once it reaches zero. Check out the infomercial to coincide with the campaign:

June 06th, 2008 | Category: Wish i'd thought of that...

We’ve been oohing and ahhing over this month’s selection and also wondering, just what kind of budgets are in operation on several of these beauties? Not a shouty or brash infomercial in sight! All cinematic, breathtaking and truly gorgeous.

The coolest creative from around the world…

April 22nd, 2008 | Category: Wish i'd thought of that...

If you’re dawdling at work or the boss’s back is turned, now’s the perfect time to view the cream of the crop creative from around the globe.

It’s an absolute must see!

Check out ace basketballer Kobe Bryant as he leaps over a speeding Aston Martin. We’re sceptical but it certainly looks realistic:

Diamond or Square

Which tastes better, the diamond or the square? Watch some in depth market research and quality control taking place at Shreddies HQ:

Diamond Shreddies II

Discovery Channel: I Love the World

This emotive ad looks great and scores high on the feel good factor. Don’t it make you feel like a grain of sand on a vast expanse of beach. Or a blade of grass in a…large field. I could go on. Just watch it:

I Love The World

Nike: Inspire

Eastern-inspired with a catchy vibe, it’s got us swinging around in our office chairs, breakdancing in the boardroom and swinging from the fluorescent light fittings:

Nike:Inspire

Magnum Manor

Visit Eva Longoria at the Magnum Manor and while away an hour or two interacting with its intriguing characters. It’s a highly polished site that just shows what can be done when you cleverly combine cool content and some serious totty. I mean serious (the gardener really captured my imagination):

Magnum Manor

Flowers.com

We really like what the people at Flowers.com have created, a unique loyalty system which allows Facebook users to tally up points for a Flowers Fresh Rewards Loyalty scheme each time they click on a flower widget on their site. That’s one company keeping tabs with up-to-the-minute trends. The new application called Gimme Love was created by San Francisco based Loyalty Lab. Future applications will allow Facebook users to send each other virtual flowers which will also bump up their score points. Points then evolve into in-store discounts and customer deals. The potential to cultivate (forgive the pun) similar campaigns across a vast range of products and services is enormous.
